The Landing at the Woodson YMCA is searching for a 29 hour per week assistant to provide administrative support. You’ll be responsible for responding to all member questions in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes, scheduling appointments, and ordering office supplies. Responsibilities

 

• Answer phone calls and emails to act as a liaison between members and staff

• Enter membership and programming information into Customer Database

• Accurately complete member and nonmember registrations for programming

• Manage voicemail and return phone calls to members

• Send email reminders to members for in-person and virtual programming

• Send surveys for all programming at The Landing

• Buy materials for the office, when necessary

• Create and implement data entry protocols to streamline processes and increase productivity

• Grow in the position through continued learning and revitalization of skillsets in related duties

 

Qualifications

• Proven track record of completing projects on time in an orderly manner

• Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication

 

 

• Proficient in computer software - Word, Excel, email system, etc. - and ability to quickly learn and use new programs

• 3+ years customer service experience or administrative experience

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field

• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community

• Understanding of the nature and purpose of The Landing and the YMCA

 

Compensation

$11 - $12 hourly
