Reopening - Phase 1

The staff at The Landing would like to THANK YOU for all of your flexibility and understanding as we have worked hard to navigate the effects of the pandemic together. We appreciate your willingness to continue to engage with us as we have battled through technology issues, pivoted to virtual options and cooked our way through the past months. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer, and we look forward to getting back to whatever version of “normal” is available to us on the other side of this pandemic.

We are incredibly excited to announce that beginning April 5th, 2021 we will begin the process of reopening The Landing on a limited basis for a few programs a week. Our top priority is the health and safety of our members and staff, so this will be a slow rollout with new protocols and procedures in place.

Below we have outlined all of the steps we are taking to help keep you safe when you are here in The Landing, as well as the rules surrounding registration. Please read through all of the protocols and procedures carefully, as we have done our best to anticipate questions you may have.

Sign Up Process for Programs Held in The Landing:

  • Class sizes will be limited to 8 members.

  • Sign up can be completed as it always has – via phone, email, and our website, as well as at the front desk at either branch.

  • If an in-person class fills up, we will maintain a waitlist. We will be offering the vast majority of the in-person programs virtually as well.

While in The Landing:

  • Masks will be required at all times throughout the building.

  • Sanitization kits will be required and available to pick up at the front desk. We ask that you sanitize your space after use.

  • A hand sanitizing station will be available at The Landing entrance for your use.

  • Class space will be configured to allow for 6 feet of space between attendees.

  • The Landing will be cleaned each night by our cleaning crew.

  • Coffee will not be served at this time.

  • We will not be providing a space for socializing with other members outside of specific program times.

We will continue to offer virtual classes as we have been, as well as our lunches and soups to go. As we move through this phase of reopening we will continue to evaluate these protocols and make changes as needed. Throughout the process we will be communicating with you, and ask that you also communicate to us any thoughts you have about how this process is working for you.
