Introduction to Spanish
Monday, March 10th-April 28th at 12:00-1:00pm
The YMCA Multi-Purpose Room
Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world. There are 20 Spanish speaking countries who use the language in an offical capacity, as well as large populations of Spanish speakers in other countries.
This course will help you develop basic Spanish speaking survival skills & explore the culture, practices & perspectives that are unique to Hispanic cultures.

Beyond Introduction to Spanish
Monday, March 10th-April 28th at 1:15-2:15pm

These 8-weeks will build on the previous Spanish lesson sessions. Members will continue to develop their understanding of the language & will get to start writing storied of their own, carry on conversations, be able to ask & answer questions.
NOTE: If you can speak base Spanish, you are welcome to join this session.

Rick Lohr Presents: Vietnam 1989
Tuesday, May 13th & Wednesday, May 21st at 10:00-11:00am

Rick traveled to Vietnam in 1989 with the Sarus Crane Foundation. At the time, Vietnam was still recovering from the war and Rick and other travelers were able to visit the villages and talk with farmers about their lives following the war, about their lives and about the cranes.
They also visited the MeKong Delta, which means "Great River" one o the greatest of Asia. Join Rick as he takes your through Vietnam.
