Introduction to Spanish- Session 1

Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world. The course will help you develop basic Spanish speaking survival skills & explore the culture, practices & perspectives that are unique to Hispanic Cultures.
Your instructor, Celin who is native to Venezuela & teaches for Marathon County Literacy Council, will guide you through the Spanish Language. Whether you just want to learn Spanish, or are planning to travel to a Spanish speaking country, you won't want to miss this introductory class.

Beyond Introduction to Spanish- Session 3
Mondays, October 7th-November 25th at 1:15-2:15pm
YMCA Multi-Purpose Room
These 8-weeks of lessons will build on Sessions 1 & 2 with basic conversation relating to family & home life & spots. We will continue to build on basic grammar, increase vocabulary & practice pronunciation, all of which will assist you in understanding the Spanish Language & ncreasing their ability to converse.

Horticulture with Janell- Forcing Bulbs

Now's the time when many gardeners are purchasing & planting spring flowering bulbs for early season color. You can enjoy tulips, hyacinths, daffodils & crocus indoors as a winter flowering treat if you take steps now to prepare the bulbs.
