Mead Wildlife Area Presents: Nature Education & Exploration

Join us as we explore the breathtaking Mead Wildlife Area, a vast 33,000-acre state wildlife area. Participate in an engaging learning experience by Mead's nature educators on "Wisconsin Mammals"
Then, LETS GET OUTSIDE. We will enjoy a winter hike. Dress for the weather. Snowshoes & Trekking poles will be available for use.

Aviation Museum & Military Veteran Museum Tour

Come and explore the world-class displays and galleries at the Aviation Museum. Check out their collection of over 200 Airplanes and other galleries and displays. Following lunch, we will head to Military Veterans Museum and education center for a guided tour.

Head to the CVA for a guided art exhibit tour featuring two compelling exhibitions. Explore the Wisconsin Visual Artists North WI Chapter Member Show, a diverse collection showcasing the creativity, techniques and perspectives of regional artists. Same as it Ever Was, a solo exhibition by Jessica Edgar featuring striking three-dimensional works. This tour offers insight in the artists processes, themes and intentions.

Leigh Yawkey Guided Tour- Tiffany or Ti-phony

Meet at Leigh Yawkey art Mueseum | 700 N 12th St. | Wausau, WI
The exhibition "Tiffany or Ti-phony?" features 45 lamps from The Neustadt's collection, marking the largest traveling display of Tiffany lamps. It explores the distinction between genuine Tiffany Lamps and imitations through innovative research, comparisons and interactive elements. Visitors will learn to identify the true nature of these artworks and the significance of spotting fakes.

Greens, Gardens & Greenhouses Galore
Tuesday, April 28th OR Thursday, April 30th- Meet in Parking Lot A at 7:45am for Departure
Let's head out and enjoy a "Breath of Spring" as we visit multiple greenhouses. Annuals, perennials and shrubs. Hanging baskets and Planters. Potting soil, bedding mulch and vegetable flats. We will experience it all and more.
Join in this blooming-gardens tour as we explore multiple greenhouses West of Wausau.

Golf Lessons with PGA Pro Paul Bjerke
Wednesday, April 29th at 4:30-5:30pm
Rib Mountain Golf Course
Paul Bjerke, a PGA Golf Professional will conduct a group lesson at Rib Mountain Golf Course Driving Range. Golf clubs are available for those without their own. Suitable for all skill levels, the lesson costs $30, which includes a bucket of 60 golf balls for practice.

Annual Brewers Bus Trip
Thursday, August 6th, 2026
Two Lamers Bus Departures: 7:30am from Wausau YMCA & 8:15am from Weston YMCA
Let's hop aboard a comfortable Lamer's Motors Coach Bus and head to American Family Field to watch the Milwaukee Brewers take on the Pittsburg Pirates.
Cost of the trip includes transportation, game tickets, light snacks and water on bus.
